Le Stanze di Sissi - Luxury Suites

We almost had to make ourselves leave the villa, we were enjoying it so much. There are plenty of things to do nearby too, including kayaking, walking around to take in the views, and eating at the local restaurants. The only issue I can think of was that the room’s wifi didn’t work, but the good parts easily outweighed that. We visited Le Stanze di Sissi with my wife at the end of October 2021. We’d seen the photos and expected a lot, but were still pleasantly surprised. The villa has amazing views and lots of lovely little areas, all decorated with great taste. The hospitality was on another level. Sissi’s son lent me his own jacket for our whole trip when I realized mine wasn’t warm enough, and even offered to let me keep it. He also drove us around and took us to the magnificent Parco Virgiliano, which we’d otherwise have missed. We spent every evening with him and his siblings, chatting in a mix of English and Italian over their homemade Limoncello. That social side made the trip special. We travel a lot, and this was one of our best trips. For anyone wanting to enjoy the bay of Naples without the crowded city hassle, I can’t think of a better place.

The family made the stay memorable with their kindness and easy conversation, and the price felt fair for the property. We spent three nights in this beautiful old villa in Posillipo, with a breathtaking view over the Gulf of Naples and beyond. The rooms are lovely, with roomy bathrooms and comfortable beds. There are terraces and balconies on several levels where you can sit in the evenings and enjoy the one-of-a-kind view. There’s also a small mini-bar. The villa sits on the rock, with a historic staircase leading down to the seafront road. The essentials are provided, including a simple breakfast. A truly enchanting place run by people we won’t forget. Thank you, we’ll stay with you again on our next visit to Naples. Matteo.
