Daniela was wonderful. She kept in touch on WhatsApp from the time we booked through hotels.com (Expedia), confirming details and offering help. We arrived as customers and left as friends. Breakfast was a real highlight. After we mentioned that one of us had coeliac disease, she recommended restaurants she had personally tried and made gluten-free cakes and bread. She also brought the children Super Mario yogurt cups, bags of sweets, and Kinder Surprise treats each day. There were homemade cakes, excellent coffee, juice, yogurt, and fresh cakes. It was amazing, worth staying for on its own. Our room was very comfortable, with a queen bed, two singles, and a roomy ensuite. The hot water pressure was great, and it had a full-sized toilet and separate bidet. Daniela supplied soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The B&B is on the second level, with a new lift in the building. We didn’t see or hear the guests in the other two rooms, so it felt very private. It’s less than a five-minute walk from the train terminal, with lots of transport options nearby. The old city is about 10 minutes away on foot, the Spanish quarter 20 minutes, and the marina 30 minutes. We thoroughly recommend it.

The owner was always smiling and happy to suggest local sights and trips. We had a large, comfortable room and a spacious bathroom, and the whole place was very clean. Breakfast was varied, with sweet options and more, and served at the times we wanted. A comfortable apartment, delicious breakfast, and five-star standards.

Daniela was so helpful and kind before our trip, and made us feel reassured that the place would be safe for our family. We stayed at Le Villanelle and would happily choose it again if we return to Naples. Our room for four was beautifully decorated, very clean, and had plenty of room to spread out. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with lots to choose from, and one morning Daniela even packed us a takeaway bag because we had an early train. She’s thought of all the little things that make a family feel at home. She was the best host we’ve ever had, and I’d recommend Le Villanelle to anyone visiting Naples.

Daniela was a kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful host. The room had everything we needed and a cute style that carried through to the breakfast area. Breakfast was delicious and good quality. It felt like a clean, comfortable pocket of calm in the lovely chaos of Naples. Many old town sights are walkable, and the main train and metro stations are right nearby.

Daniela was an excellent host and helped us with every detail. The breakfast room is lovely, the breakfast was adequate, and our room was clean and attractive. But the doors have no sound insulation. You wake when the first guest gets up, and can hear footsteps, suitcase wheels, and people talking.
