Maison la Mitra

Marco was especially helpful and sorted out any problems, and the place was very clean. The location may not look appealing at first, but it's actually close to the main attractions and just a five-minute walk from Museo underground, the main line that takes you everywhere. Breakfast was the one issue. You have to order through a website, but they don't always get it right, sometimes bringing too much or too little. For instance, when I ordered tea, it arrived cold.

It was dirty and hadn't been cleaned. The place needs more than a coat of paint. See photos. A fire trap.

Marco and everyone at "La Maison la Mitra" made us feel cared for throughout our three-night stay. The apartment was very comfortable, the service impeccable, and breakfast plentiful and delicious. The location was also excellent for reaching the center of Naples. Marco welcomed us warmly and was helpful, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. He was there for all our needs, suggested we visit the Amalfi Coast, and even let me rest at his family's home when I was ill. Though he hardly knew me, he looked after me and made me feel like part of the family. After we picked up our luggage at the end of the holiday, he was also available to take us to the airport. We sincerely thank Marco and all the staff for pampering us, supporting us, and putting up with us. Thanks to Stef too, and especially to Marco for everything. We felt right at home and are sure we'll return and stay with them again. Our holiday ended wonderfully. We look forward to seeing you in Palermo. With love, the Sicilian girls.

Marco welcomed us kindly, and the location was good, but the apartment could use some care. We booked for three, though the room seemed meant for two: the third bed was an unstable cot that gave way with even a little movement. Some kitchen basics, including glasses and spoons, were missing, and breakfast was very basic. A toilet paper holder, coffee pods, and cold water in the fridge would be thoughtful touches. Guests like to feel looked after when they arrive.
