Capodimonte feels like the real, lived-in Naples, with historic buildings, washing hanging from balconies, music through open windows, and football arguments spilling into the street. Around Monart Hospitality Capodimonte, shopkeepers lay out fish, fruit, and herbs, neighbors chat across balconies, and scooters keep zipping past. It’s vibrant and local, and coming back in the evening to a quiet, comfortable apartment felt good. Monica welcomed us into her beautifully renovated apartment with soft jazz playing, the doors open, and fresh coffee in the air. She restored it herself, and you can see the care in the details. The interior is stylish and spotless without feeling fussy. The lighting, furnishings, reading lamp, and even the curtains all feel thoughtfully chosen and work well. Breakfast was generous and beautifully presented. Monica also shared neighborhood walks, places for great pizza, and a family-run trattoria that still cooks like Nonna. Her suggestions helped make our visit memorable. We’ve travelled widely and met many lovely hosts, but Monica is especially warm and attentive, and clearly proud of what she’s made. For an authentic, comfortable stay in Naples, this place made us feel like we belonged. Thank you, Monica.

We were very happy with our stay at the Capodimonte location, and Monica was friendly and helpful. From our front room, we enjoyed watching everyday Neapolitan life: the vegetable delivery truck, neighbors looking out from their windows, and scooters constantly going by. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom had a strong hairdryer, and the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. You’re close to Capodimonte itself, its huge park, and the Catacombs of San Gennaro. There are two good restaurants up the street and a lovely café in the park, and Monica has good recommendations. The streets are steep, and it’s a 20-25 minute walk to the Centro Storico, so be ready for that. Staying here gives you a different glimpse of daily life from the touristy center. We’re glad we chose it and would love to return.

The hilltop setting gives you amazing views. Everything else was wonderful too: super clean, great communication, and a really good vibe. 1000% recommend!

The neighborhood is the real highlight. Monart sits in the heart of Rione Sanità, a lively part of Naples where you can wander authentic lanes away from the historic center’s tourist crowds. From the green surroundings of the Royal Park of Capodimonte hill, there are breathtaking panoramic views, and it’s a welcome escape from the intense heat in the warmer season. This recently restored B&B is in a historic building with high beamed ceilings. The shared spaces are bright, with plants, vintage pieces, and touches inspired by Italian classicism alongside a minimal style. Rooms are spacious, spotless, and practical. The mattress, pillows, linens, and bathroom finishes all help it feel like home. The automated reception gives you flexibility, and super friendly Gianpaolo is available with helpful advice for getting around the city. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh Neapolitan pastries served thoughtfully. It made for a lovely mix of comfort and informal hospitality. I’ll definitely come back!
