The rooms were modern, very clean, and the team was especially friendly. The location was excellent too. The owner was reachable on WhatsApp any time, day or night, and helped us with advice about renting a car and arranging a transfer. Highly recommend it!

I wish they’d sort out the bathroom mold for future guests. In our deluxe room, which was only 15m2, it really wasn’t acceptable. We also struggled with the language barrier, which is a problem for a hospitality business, though translator apps helped us get by. I’m giving an extra star for Franco’s help. Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t as lucky as other visitors’.

The views and sounds of Napoli streets are a big part of the stay, and the place has everything you’d expect in a small Italian apartment. Dario also serves breakfast and gives you a tour when you arrive. He’s clearly put a lot of care into revamping this B&B. Finding it is an adventure. It’s inside a piazza, in a classic Italian setup, and the directions are much like the ones for the museum of torture. The two places are at different corners, so if you follow those directions and get lost, walk around the corner and you should find it. Ring the right button for NapoliViva and Dario will unlock the gate. Then it’s up three flights of stairs, I think, to a dark brown double-knobbed door. Ring the bell and Dario will greet you. The B&D is right in the center, so you can get pretty much anywhere from there. Our room was very clean, and the staff made us feel welcome. They earned those five stars.
