Old Town House apartment

Inside, the place is renovated, clean, and well equipped. Getting there means climbing quite a flight of stairs, and check-in is self-service. The outside and the neighborhood can look scary, though the whole area has that feel. There were four of us and nothing happened, but I wouldn't recommend walking around there in the evening, especially alone. It's a quaint spot, and if you're after a reasonably priced stay with a bit of an adrenaline rush, this might suit you. But I didn't feel it was very safe for solo travel.

You can reach the Duomo, Via Gregorio Armeno, the Tribunali, and the train station very easily from here. The rooms are spacious and clean, with air conditioning throughout and plenty of towels. Despite the striking entrance, facade, street, and neighborhood, especially at night, I never felt unsafe. People generally keep to themselves and are friendly. Naples is dirty and neglected, but BEAUTIFUL, and I have wonderful memories. A few things kept me from giving it a 10. Street music carried on past midnight and was quite loud in one room, at least in August. The shower temperature was hard to regulate, there was no dishwasher, and the electricity sometimes tripped, though resetting the circuit breakers fixed it.

Very clean room right in the center. I'd recommend it.
