Breakfast had plenty of choice, from pastries to scrambled eggs, and the staff were happy to help and offer advice. The room was bright and clean, and there’s a good supermarket just 100 m down the road. Spaccanopoli’s bustle is a 10-minute walk away, and the mostly level walk to the castle takes under 20 minutes. I had a really good stay and would return.

Good prices, a good location, and room sizes start at 14 m2. Breakfast was good and communicating with the staff was very easy. The gym and sauna were a big plus.

We visited for my wife’s birthday and were able to upgrade to a junior suite with a terrace overlooking the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The terrace didn’t have a table or chairs, but the staff quickly brought something up so we could sit and relax. The next morning, the woman at the front desk apologized and explained that they hadn’t put anything out because it can get quite windy during the winter months, apparently starting in late October. We had sunny weather in the mid-70s throughout our stay, which we were told was unusual for that time of year in Italy. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, and breakfast was excellent, with lots of fresh pastries. This hotel is a gem if you’re visiting Naples.

The staff were excellent and professional, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. I’ve also stayed at holiday inn Naples, which I thought was worse than this Hotel.
