The room was clean and nicely furnished, but the street noise was impossible to block out. That may just be Naples, but for this price the stay really wasn't worth it. The biggest problem was the check-in and communication. The listing on Booking makes this sound like a hotel, though it isn't one. I wanted to check in soon after reaching Naples around 10 a.m., but the owner said he was ill and would send an entry code. I didn't hear back until 6 p.m. Before that I called about three times with no answer. A boy who was cleaning the place let us in around 1 p.m., gave us the keys and explained things. Only after he called the owner did the owner answer the phone. I had paid for breakfast each day. The owner's message said vouchers would be on the table, but we only got them on my last day, after I'd already flown home at 8 in the morning. That was no help at all.

The owner seemed like a cool guy and was responsive and on time. Nearby restaurants were good, and the views made the walks to the sights more pleasant, though the attractions are quite far away. The street itself is very busy, so expect a lot of noise at night. The rooms have seen better days. Stains from dead mosquitoes on the walls brought back that familiar struggle to get a decent night's sleep. Breakfast is a coffee, sugary juice and croissant down the road. If you're from outside Italy or France, that probably won't be enough. For the money, I'd look elsewhere. It shouldn't take much effort to find somewhere better.

The window wouldn't close, there were lots of mosquitoes and a severe smell. The bathroom and breakfast were poor too. Bad value for the price.

Breakfast was included and served just 30 meters from the hotel, and the value for money beat what we expected. The heating stayed on, so the rooms were always at a comfortable temperature. Coffee and tea were available in the kitchen. We had a couple of small problems, but the staff answered as soon as we called and offered to sort them out. We had a great time.
