Relais San Severo

This is a small place with only a couple of rooms, not a full service hotel, so keep that in mind. We booked through Delta stays and loved the authentic feel of being in the bustle of Naples. The central location means there’s lots to eat and do nearby. The desk made it easy to arrange a private transfer back to the airport. At certain times the elevator costs .50€, though reception or the doorman can help during those paid hours.

Max was such a pleasant, hospitable host, and even got in touch before check-in to make sure our rooms would be ready. He was available whenever we needed something, and getting in and out of the building felt very safe. We were able to reach all the popular spots around town from the perfect location. The rooms were clean and had the amenities we needed, though the shower doors were a bit tricky to manage. My girlfriends and I had a wonderful experience at the Relais San Severo, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The rooftop patio is nice, though not really usable. We were disappointed that the fancy soaker tub didn’t work, but the room was nice and the washroom was clean and modern. The location is great once you find the place the first time, and the staff were extremely helpful with shuttle arrangements and access. Just be aware this isn’t a full service hotel.

Matteo made us feel welcome, arranged our airport transfers and answered all our questions. He even helped me figure out how to buy a bus ticket. The little hotel is right in the old town, surrounded by cafes, bars, history and places to eat. It doesn’t offer breakfast, but we had no trouble finding tasty breakfasts nearby. The rooms are beautiful and the roof terrace views are gorgeous. The hotel played a big part in our lovely time in Naples. Thank you, Matteo, for an amazing stay.
