Residenza Flegrea

The residence was very clean and nice, and even had a washing machine. Transport access is really good, and the host was quick to respond on WhatsApp and help us.

The apartment was comfortable and matched the photos online. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the Metro, with a bus stop just 2-3 minutes away. Doriana, Daniela, and Monica were professional, quick to respond, and great about handling my requests. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The road noise was loud, and people yelling and banging doors made it hard to relax. Inside, the room looked nothing like the photos. There was no divider between the second bed and the kitchen, so there was no privacy. On our first night, people screamed in the corridor and someone kept setting off an alarm for over an hour. There was dog urine in the indoor stairwell every day, too. We arrived to no clear information, and nobody seemed to know what was happening. We were given the wrong city tax amount. The woman who booked our taxi said it would be a fixed €30, but the driver charged us much more. I reported the broken toilet seat right away, but it was never repaired. A real shame, because the pictures had looked lovely.

The apartments are spotless, comfortable, and cared for down to the little details. The location is also hard to beat, just steps from the sea at Mergellina. I came back for another few days and Daniela welcomed us warmly again, with the rest of the staff helping make the holiday special. Everything was just right, and I’d absolutely recommend this place.
