Breakfast came to the room each morning, with the little garden as another option. The room was cleaned daily, and the receptionist and manager were especially kind and helpful. It was quiet and welcoming, with a stunning view, and private parking was available. Getting around worked well: the funicular is about 100 meters away and goes to Mergellina, while the metro is a 15-minute walk. The seafront is walkable too, though the way back is uphill. I recommend the funicular to the San Antonio stop. I’d give the room four stars because it has no proper closet, though it’s more than adequate for one person. The location gets four as well since it’s far from the historic center. I hope I can return.

We liked having the small, secure parking area on site. The owner was kind throughout our stay, greeting us with fruit juice, water, and beer, then bringing breakfast to the garden the next morning, or to our room if we preferred. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and very nice. The location is on Naples’ first hill, about 900 meters from the subway. We knew it was out of the way when booking, but hadn’t realized how steep the route would be. In summer, bring mosquito repellent.

The owners were kind and ready to help with whatever we needed, and the rooms were consistently clean. You’re away from the city center, but Mergellina metro station is only a few minutes away and makes it easy to get around the city, including directly to the central station. The B&B is in Posillipo, where the spectacular Gulf of Naples and its natural beauty are reason enough for the price of the stay.

We booked just one night, but the room was so beautiful and Giovanni so kind and attentive to the details that we didn’t want to go. There was fresh juice when we arrived, and breakfast in bed was superb. We’ll definitely come back.
