Sirena Partenope B&B

A handy tramline is only a minute away. For €1.50, it runs from the B&B area to the pompeii train station, which could be useful if you want to visit pompeii or sorrento. The hop-on, hop-off bus tour also starts around the corner. The B&B is on the 6th floor of the same block as the hostel, at number 15. When you enter, look for the plaques on your left showing the floor. Take the lift on the left, which may need 5c to work depending on the time of day, then head up to the 6th floor. The B&B is clearly marked immediately to your right as you leave the lift. Inside, there are a few rooms and a shared kitchen area with a fridge. Everything felt modern and clean. The windows shut out most of the outside noise, and the room had air conditioning, a TV, plenty of sockets, and a big rainfall shower with an optional handheld unit. Didn’t see a single mosquito either! The owners were friendly, obliging, and helpful. The owner speaks very good English and helped us find our way. They seemed to be around from 8am to 2pm.

We really enjoyed staying at B&B Sirena Partenope. The rooms were tidy and had a modern design, and the hosts were very friendly. Freshly baked pastries at breakfast were a lovely extra. It’s very close to the Molo Beverello/ Catel Nuovo/ Corso Umberto I area, and I highly recommend it.

The host was very helpful and offered advice on getting around. The location works well for visiting the historical centre, Capri, and Pompeii, with the bus, metro, and ferry all just minutes away. If you’re a light sleeper, though, you’ll need earplugs for a good night’s rest.

The hosts were very friendly and flexible about our arrival and departure times. They also helped us arrange taxis during the visit.
