The apartment itself is very well kept and felt like a safe haven, but the surrounding area was squalid and we didn't feel safe walking around. Nights were noisy, with cars, people shouting and screaming, and dogs barking. There were also lots of loud bangs that sounded like gunshots. They promised car parking, but she just told us to park on the street, as if we'd find a space. Our rental car company said we had to use a parking building or we wouldn't be insured. We found Naples awful, scary, and crime ridden. I'd avoid the city, but if you do go, the apartment is a refuge.

I can't recommend this property. We had planned our trip three months ahead, but two weeks before we were due to go, the host said our date wasn't available and asked us to switch to another one. Booking helped us avoid what might have been bigger problems, but it was hard to find a good room rate so close to departure.
