The heating was the biggest problem for us. Our room stayed cold for three days because the heater didn’t work, and we ended up catching a cold. Breakfast was acceptable, though the person serving it came across as unfriendly and was particularly strict with the children, which made us feel unwelcome. We booked expecting to use the kitchen shown in the photos and let the kids play freely in the garden. Neither matched that impression: guests can’t use that kitchen, and the garden is shared by the whole apartment complex. Cooking here isn’t convenient, so keep that in mind before booking. Also, Naples has a pickpocketing risk. Someone in our group had their phone stolen, and Asian travelers should be especially careful in this area.

Our group of 16, including high school students visiting from Maine, USA, and teachers, found Foria House a calm place to come back to after the busy streets of downtown Naples. Francesca, Alberto, and Andriano were gracious and made everyone feel welcome. The breakfast was great, the decor tasteful, and the small details thoughtful. They also gave us useful recommendations. It’s clear the people running the place care about their guests and their work. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return.

The location was amazing, and I liked the room. It was really cold when we first got in, but we got a heater. I liked that the hotel is pet-friendly and has a garden, though the buildings around the garden felt a bit weird.

It has a homely feel, and several rooms can use the kitchen, with silverware and a fridge stocked with drinks. There are also some local guides to browse for information. The only downside for me was the WiFi, which wasn’t very strong.
