The owner was charming and very hospitable, and spoke English really well, which was useful. They pointed me toward good places to visit in Napoli. The hotel is in the historic central area, near the main shopping stretch of via Toledo on the sea-front side, which suited me perfectly. My room was spacious, clean, and fresh. I liked the hotel’s colors and its quiet atmosphere. There’s a small laundry nearby and a handy mini supermarket for cheese, cold meats like salami, salad, fruit, and other things. For coffee, tea, cream pastries, and cake, Pasticceria Leopoldo was excellent. I enjoyed staying here in both low and peak season.

We waited for hours outside, pressing buzzer 102 again and again because nobody let us in. Once we finally got inside, the staff were incredibly rude. This “hotel” is a shambles and feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. After looking at the TripAdvisor and Google reviews, I’m pretty sure someone affiliated with the place is writing their own five-star reviews. Avoid it like the plague.

We were left waiting by the front door for almost two hours. This isn’t a hotel, just three rooms with a lockbox that opens if you wiggle the door. It felt downright unsafe, and we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping there or leaving our luggage. They refused to refund us even though the place wasn’t what we expected.

The location was perfect, and the service was great. The rooms are a good size, with simple, modern furniture. There’s tea-making equipment in the room, plus a hairdryer and a TV that seems to show All Italia all the time.

It’s close to the centre of Naples, and the service was good with a decent breakfast. The room was small, and there’s no parking on site. A nearby garage costs €25 per night.
