Some parts felt homely and nice, but I hadn’t stayed in a hotel like this before. Check-in was a nightmare, and we hadn’t planned how to get to the airport because the hotel usually calls us a taxi. The shower was covered in mold, mildew, and limescale and badly needed a scrub. The main shower jets didn’t work because of it.

Just five minutes before we arrived, they sent us to a different, horrible apartment. Stay away.

Our room was clean and well cared for, and the staff were attentive. The property is in a beautiful historic building in the city’s most elegant area, right across from the traffic-free waterfront promenade lined with restaurants and pizzerias. Private paid parking is only a few steps away.

The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and newly furnished, with everything well appointed. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and breakfast was an excellent way to start the day. It’s a fabulous B&B, close to the city center, the seafront, and plenty of nearby amenities.
