Toledo LR Collection

We really enjoyed staying at Toledo LR Collection. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the spacious room was modern, stylish, clean, and very comfortable. Restaurants, shopping streets, and the metro are all close by, right in the heart of Naples. Some street noise did come through at night, which was the one small downside. Even so, we’d highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Naples.

Martina was the sweetest and made us feel really welcome. We spent four lovely nights at Toledo LR Collection. The rooms were beautiful and super clean, and the location was great, with plenty of shops nearby and lots to see. I’d definitely recommend staying here when visiting Naples.

The best part of our stay turned out to be what Martina did after checkout. We had a ferry at 20:00 but needed to check out at 11:00, so she let us leave our bags and gave us instructions for getting back to collect them after she’d left. We accidentally left behind a bag of souvenirs, including some great artwork by a local artist. Martina quickly arranged to pack it up and ship it to our hotel in Rome. Everything arrived safely a few days later. It was hard to work out how to repay her from abroad, and at one point she even offered to treat the shipping as a gift, but she found a way for us to pay her back. Her kindness and service were outstanding. The room was also very comfortable, with a great bed, AC, and a bathroom I loved. Everything seemed thought out for guests’ comfort, which wasn’t always the case with AC on the rest of our Italy trip. Martina was a warm and welcoming host. The building has an interesting courtyard, then an elevator or a few steps up to what looks like an apartment. Inside, it opens into a hotel-style hallway with several rooms. I can’t recommend the place enough, for the room and the service alike.

Martina made us feel so well looked after. She was lovely, easy check-in, and when we accidentally left a few things behind, she took the time to send them by priority mail to our next hotel. The room itself was thoughtfully set up, with water, toiletries, and earplugs just in case. We barely noticed outside noise, despite what we'd read about the area, and the air conditioning worked great. We stayed only one night in Napoli and slept better than anywhere else on our two-week trip around Italy. Wish we could've stayed longer, and I'd love to come back.
