Toledo Place

My girlfriend and I had a perfect three-day stay. The place feels brand new, with modern, stylish furnishings, and the value for the price was great. It's in the center, just steps from the Toledo metro stop on line 1. There are plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby, and piazza plebiscito is an easy walk away.

Toledo Place is in a really convenient central spot for seeing the city, and the room was comfortable, new, well cared for, and spotless. I pay close attention to bathrooms, and this one was impeccable. We had towels, a small but working hairdryer, and shower gel in handy single-use packets. The owner was helpful throughout. He came in person to pay and explain how everything worked, including the key for the main door and the separate room codes. When we couldn't find the remote the first night, he sorted it out right away. The one disappointment was breakfast. We were given two tickets for the partner bar across the street for one morning, though there were three of us, including our daughter, and we stayed two nights. The bar kindly didn't charge for her breakfast. I expected the other tickets to be left after the room was cleaned the next day, but they weren't. We left very early and the bars were probably still closed, so we may not have eaten anyway, but I was still a bit disappointed. I'd recommend the property for its cleanliness, comfort, location, and helpful owner.

The room felt welcoming, spacious, and new, and it was spotlessly clean. The owner and staff were kind, courteous, and ready to help. Entry uses a keyless system with access codes, which worked well. Toledo Place is a great base for exploring the city, only a few steps from the Toledo metro station.
