Unicum Suite Napoli Centro Storico

We were really frustrated with this stay. The mattress was very uncomfortable, the bathroom door came off its hinge and we had to fix it, and the sauna that was supposed to come with the room turned out to cost extra. The area was extremely loud too, with music going well past 3 AM.

Even though we were there for less than 24 hours on a Sunday, the stay made me fall in love with Napoli and its energy. The suite had high ceilings, a spacious bathroom, lovely decor, a distinctive design, and a little kitchen with a capsule coffee machine and a fridge stocked with juice, water, and proscecco. Breakfast was included. It felt like a small boutique hotel with only a few suites, and the real place matched the photos and reviews, with extra warmth and personal care. The low-season price was affordable for what we got and compared with other places. I was nervous arriving in Napoli for the first time in the morning, especially about parking overnight and managing self check-in without anyone there to help. But Antonio was very communicative online, and the woman who prepared the room and breakfast was there whenever we needed her. I really liked the contrast between the old building and surroundings and the elegant interior. We only stayed briefly, but made the most of it. It could be noisy on weekends because it's near bars. Thank you!

The virtual check-in was so convenient, and the apartment itself is gorgeous and modern. The staff were lovely, and the disco lights in the shower were a fun bonus. We loved the location and also struggled with it: our Classic suite faced student bars, so Friday and Saturday nights were loud. Bring earplugs, choose another room if possible, or join the party.

The included breakfast was a lovely surprise, and the woman serving it was caring and super nice. Antinio, the host, was great too, supportive and always checking that we were doing well. It's in a perfect spot for exploring Napoli. Highly recommended.
