A peaceful evening at the Aia, surrounded by the Salento countryside and farmland where they grow their own fruit and vegetables. Our group of friends and family had asked for an intimate dinner, freshly prepared and served in that lovely setting. Julia and her staff made us feel very welcome and were attentive to our extra requests. My family and I will certainly return next year. Lovely place, lovely people.

It was such a lovely evening at the Aia, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. We started with cocktails at sunset on the terrazza, then had a relaxed candlelit meal of local food and wine. The service felt easygoing and personal. Giulia is putting so much of herself into making this a beautiful place to unwind in Salento. Time just seemed to slip away.

The staff were professional, helpful, kind and fun, and I loved my time at the Aia. The pink walls were lovely, and I enjoyed doing yoga on the rooftop and taking excursions to the sea. I’ll definitely come back :)

We loved having cornetto and coffee in the shade of the trees at this peaceful, stylish retreat. The breakfasts were delicious, and Guilia was a wonderful host with good ideas for places to go and things to do. We had a lovely stay and hope to be back soon. Thanks, Guilia! Jo and family

We really enjoyed our stay at this clean, well-kept bed and breakfast near Nardo. Giulia Stasi runs it; she studied and lived in the US before returning to her family’s home area, so her English is excellent. There’s a pool, and she also puts on yoga classes, wine tastings and other events. The sea is close by, about a five-minute drive or a bike ride away, and you can swim in the Ionian Sea. Highly recommended.
