Our first stay at the complex went fine, so we decided to extend it. At the same price, though, they gave us a room instead of the apartment with a terrace we'd asked for, and there was no kitchen, although we were allowed to use the shared one. The owner lived upstairs and watched to see if we turned on the air conditioning and whether we opened the windows. I found her very annoying around the complex.

I gave it five stars because it's such a relaxing place and makes you feel at home. Sweet Marco, kind Francesca, the fantastic helper Giulio, and the electrifying Silvia all made the stay special.

The staff were friendly, helpful and kept things clean. The location is perfect for the beach, and just minutes from Gallipoli, Porto Cesareo, Torre Lapillo and Nardò. Highly recommended.

It felt more like staying in a private home where a room is rented out. Basically, it's a bed and breakfast.
