B&B Mareen

I loved the house, its history, and that warm, home-away-from-home feeling. Fabiola is gentle and kind, and pays attention to all the little details. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. Grazie mille 🤍 torno presto

A really nice B&B, comfortable and friendly.

Fabiola puts so much care into the place. She’s always smiling, helpful, and full of good suggestions for places to visit and eat. I also really enjoyed hearing about Salento traditions over breakfast. The location works so well: the nearest beach, a beautiful rocky one, is right across the road, and a lovely promenade starts there. It’s only a few minutes on foot to beach resorts and the town center, which also has a sandy beach. The best-known bays and towns are only a short drive away. Breakfast was generous, with fresh pasticciotti every morning, homemade desserts, and savory bites. Our spacious room had a little courtyard for hanging laundry and getting fresh air. The large fridge with a freezer section came in handy in summer, and there was also a coffee maker and kettle for tea and herbal teas. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom had a large shower. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day and the towels were changed. We had a wonderful stay. The atmosphere is welcoming, the sea is lovely and the food is excellent. We highly recommend it.

We spent a week here, and the room looked out over the sea. It was very comfortable and cared for impeccably, more like a hotel. I don’t eat breakfast myself, but it was plentiful and varied. The owner is very kind. The location is excellent if you’re not planning to cover all of Puglia or Salento. You can leave the car parked and enjoy a quiet week, while the most beautiful places are within a 30-minute drive if you want to explore. Highly recommended.
