B&B ME Palace

Immaculately clean, with total privacy and all the comforts of home. Whenever I’m back in Italy and passing through Nardò, I stay here. I recommend it and will be back soon. Thank you!

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired: there was dust everywhere, ants in the fireplace, cobwebs all over, and a damp smell. When we switched on the hot tub, it leaked dust, so we had to change the water three times. I’m very sorry, but we’ll provide photos and details of the calls we made that went unanswered.

I’ve returned to this property several times because the owner has been courteous and willing to accommodate my needs. The room is clean and cozy, and the location makes it easy to get around on foot. I’ve recommended it to friends too, and they enjoyed their stays.

The B&B has everything you need, including a kitchen with a table and packaged snacks for breakfast. It’s furnished in an old-fashioned style, and the bathroom is very narrow and uncomfortable. The cleanliness, though, really brought the stay down. The hot tub kept leaking dirt and smelling unpleasant, even after we filled and emptied it three times, so we couldn’t use it. Dust and cobwebs covered the furniture and bedside lamps. The white sheets looked clean, but sleeping was impossible because of dust and dust mites. It was a hellish night, with itching and dust blowing out of the air conditioning, apparently because the filters hadn’t been cleaned. We ended up with rashes all over our bodies. We paid €70 for one night. Not recommended.
