We arrived expecting a three-bedroom apartment with air conditioning, but only two rooms were made available and air-conditioned. The third bedroom was shut, and when the host reluctantly opened it, he made rude remarks. The place was dirty, so we had to clean it ourselves. Although we'd been allowed to bring our dogs, the host later called to complain about them and about us leaving the air conditioning running. We had several heated arguments with the owners. When we asked Airbnb for a partial refund, they accused us of trying to cheat them and threatened to make us leave. After we reported what happened to Airbnb, we eventually received a refund for 10 nights.

After five years, we came back to Nardò to stay with Alberto and were glad to find the same helpful, welcoming attitude. It was a small but comfortable house for two adults and our child, who was almost three. The area was really quiet and worked well as a base for visiting Salento's beaches, towns, and other areas.

Alberto and his family were the best part, so welcoming and ready to help. The house suited our group of young people, and the quiet, relaxing setting was great. It's also a handy base for seeing Salento's best beaches and cities. We'll be back.

We really enjoyed the inviting outdoor space. The apartment is spacious, furnished nicely, and has everything you need for a stay. Its location also makes getting around convenient, and the owner was very welcoming and helpful.
