The location makes it easy to get to Porto Cesareo’s center and the best beaches in Salento. Raffaele, the owner, was very kind and helpful.

A good place to spend a pleasant week, with a pool, garden, and parking. The cottages have everything you need, from a private bathroom and indoor and outdoor showers to an outdoor washing machine. The owners were very helpful, especially Raffaele, who gave us great advice on getting around. It’s also a convenient starting point for Porto Cesareo’s nearby center, the beautiful beaches, and the rest of Salento.

We were after a quiet break, and Il Poggio turned out to be just the place. After two days in Gallipoli, my girlfriend and I decided on a last-minute trip to Salento and wanted to get away from the crowds, so we booked a vacation home. Raffaele, the owner, welcomed us and quickly offered tips on the most interesting spots. The pool and barbecue are nice shared spaces, and there are several Porto Cesario beaches not far away.
