The building, its windows and furnishings show their age, though the place is acceptable overall. The rooms were clean, and they supplied three towels in different sizes. For a budget stay, I’d say it’s well above average, with good value for money. What really makes the difference is the staff’s rare level of courtesy and willingness to go out of their way for every request and make our stay easy. I recommend it for an affordable stay.

A miserable stay. The TV was broken, the water was cold all the time, and sometimes there was no water at all. Whenever we told reception, they brushed it off with, “Well, that’s fine,” even though nothing was fine, and said the room was outdated. In my friend’s room, the toilet was right next to the shower, so you had to stand in the shower to use it. And €90,000 for a place like this? It’s 2020, time to update things. “Disappointed” doesn’t even cover it.

The property is a little dated, but very clean, and the location is excellent. When our air conditioning didn’t work, they moved us to a different room straight away. The staff were friendly. I’m celiac, and there was nothing I could eat at breakfast the first morning, but a kind woman made sure I had something suitable the next day.

We had a great stay. We’d booked a double, but the kind receptionist upgraded us to a triple with a sea view. The hotel was very clean, had free private parking, and was just steps from the sea. It’s a three-star hotel, so don’t expect luxury. I don’t agree with the negative reviews, especially when they don’t explain what went wrong. Highly recommended.

Seven of us stayed one night, split between two quadruple rooms, and it was quite a unique place. For a three-star, it felt like more than a four-star! The rooms were spacious, bright, and cleaned with real care. The staff were cheerful, friendly, and helpful. It’s very close to the lovely little beach at Santa Maria al, and the quality for the price was excellent. We’ll definitely return. Highly recommended!
