That big rooftop terrace is a lovely feature. Daniela is such a kind, graceful, welcoming host, and the rooms and shared spaces are spotless, with thoughtful details throughout. The room itself has a tasteful mix of traditional and original furnishings.

The breakfasts were a treat, with fresh pastries and rustici baked every morning. Mrs. Annamaria was so kind, and Mrs. Daniela made us feel right at home. We spent a week at B&B Letto e Merenda in Nardò, or as they say, "Liettu e Marenda." The place feels warm and homely, is very clean, and has lots of details that tell its story. The pasticciotti come straight from the bakery next door, and breakfast is a little more substantial than the usual Italian one. This beautifully renovated old village house has two floors, an elevator, lovely stone and woodwork, and a magnificent roof terrace. It once served, among other things, as a tobacco smokehouse. It's spotless and close to the center, where there are a fair number of places to eat or have a drink. Nardò isn't very touristy, but it feels authentic. A great base for a few days exploring the area after visiting the town.

I had a lovely three-night stay at B&B Letto e Merenda in Nardò's historic center. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location is excellent. I also suggest a stop at "Dispensa del Salento" for typical products at good prices.

The traditional breakfast was generous, and the location made it easy to get to so many places. Mrs. Daniela and Mr. Marco welcomed us so warmly during our four days there, and the comfort was excellent in every way. Absolutely recommended!
