Palazzo Osanna

The rooms were very quiet, probably thanks to the old masonry, even though the building sits on the inner ring road beside the historic center walls. There are three rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and they’re all air-conditioned. One has a kitchenette and mini-fridge. There’s no private parking, so you’ll need to use the main road’s blue-line spaces or look around the nearby streets for free parking. I think it’s a good base for visiting Nardò and its marinas.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the center and everything there. The owner was attentive and kind when we arrived, and made sure to say goodbye when we left. We were struck by the retro decor from the lovely entrance through to the room, which had a bathroom with every comfort. Everything was clean and well organized. We’d recommend this place to everyone!

We only stayed a few days, but Giovanna’s warm welcome and hospitality made us feel right at home, and it’s a fond memory for us. Palazzo Osanna is ideally placed in Nardò, just steps from the historic center and its attractions. The surrounding area is easy to get around too: Lecce and Gallipoli are each 25 km away, while Punta Prosciutto and the Maldives of Salento are about a half-hour drive.
