Toto Residence

The apartment was so small, and during my week at Toto Residence I also had broken fridge doors held in place with duct tape. The TV didn't work, and hot water came and went. I'm being generous with my rating, really. I'd never stay there again, even for free.

The only good parts were the pool and the restaurant beside it, which seemed to be run independently of the residence. We will go back to Torre Lapillo, but definitely stay somewhere else. Inside the apartment, the bathroom handle came off in our hands as soon as we arrived. The children's bedroom door had come completely away from the wall and was just leaning there. By day two, the sink had broken and water from the air conditioner was dripping through the ceiling, enough that we needed a bucket. The washing machine gave out on the third day. The garden hedge was clearly neglected. Water came out in such a thin trickle that washing your hair was almost impossible. Worst of all, I think, the gas cylinder had been screwed on by hand and not tightened with the proper wrench. I blame whoever was supposed to check the apartment between one set of guests leaving and the next arriving. That was a very serious situation that could have caused a real disaster.

Quiet, clean, and in a good location. It would be better if the price included two sets of bathroom linens.

The portions are generous, and we left feeling satisfied after dinner. My wife and I found it elegant and the food was really good. I definitely recommend it, just as it was recommended to me.
