Villa Itaca

We stayed in the ULISSE apartment for about 6 days, 6 nights for 8 people, at an excellent price. Mr. Valli was friendly and helpful, and as a tour guide he could point us toward nearby beaches with clear water. The house is pet-friendly, and the bedrooms have air conditioning. Each room has its own bathroom with a shower and bidet, plus there's another bathroom that isn't ensuite. I stayed in the Ulisse room, which has a bunk bed and a double bed. The other beds were fine, but the top bunk's bars move and come loose, and its box spring makes you feel like you're sinking when you get on it. The bathroom was missing a toilet seat that needed to be installed, and the flush was a little slow. The showerhead leaked at the connection, so water could get onto the floor. Aside from those things, everything was perfect. Thanks to Vanni for being kind to everyone, and for bringing us delicious Lecce pasticciotti, still warm for breakfast.

Vanni was so courteous and helpful during our 10-day stay, with plenty of tips on places to visit, where to eat, and more. Early in the morning, he even put his famous pasticciotti on the table while they were still warm. The villa was very welcoming and well located for exploring nearby towns and beaches. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

A simple, welcoming place in a quiet location, with convenient parking right out front. It's a great base for easily getting to the best spots on the Ionian coast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I had such a wonderful week with Vanni that I'm finishing my Salento tour and already don't want to leave. His welcome was excellent, and he knows so much about the history and art of the cities in his beloved Puglia. He's kind, polite, and always available. I felt like part of the family.
