The room was cosy and comfortable, with a beautiful view. Fabio was a really nice, helpful host. Loved it, and would recommend!

A quiet, affordable place, surrounded by the lovely Lake Como.

The balcony overlooking the lake was a highlight, especially at breakfast and dinner. We found the apartment clean, well looked after, nicely furnished, and equipped with what we needed for a relaxed stay. It sits in a charming setting in Nesso, about halfway between Como and Bellagio, with bus routes, ferries, and a parking space available. Shops for everyday things are around the corner, and bars and restaurants are an easy walk away. There are some steep stair climbs on the way down and back, but the food and drinks make them worthwhile. The landlord was friendly, kind, and accommodating, and it was always a pleasure dealing with him. We felt at home and enjoyed our time at Lake Como. We'd happily book again, and thought the value was excellent.

The bed was comfortable, and I liked the shower room and kitchenette. The living area and kitchen are in two separate rooms, and the Wi-Fi was very weak in the living room. The courtyard outside was nearly completely dark, and the room had an overwhelming cigarette smell. There were also strict, unwelcoming rules, including a €150 charge for a lost room key and a ban on moving furniture. We arrived late after a car race had blocked the roads. The owner knew about the closures but, for some reason, didn't tell us. It was a perfectly fine stay in some ways, but we won't return and would rather stay somewhere else around Lake Como.
