In early August I stayed at Stanze del Borgo, right on Nettuno’s central village square amid ancient walls. I could see the harbor from my balcony. The place has its own carefully thought-out style. The owners were very welcoming and kind, and their Trattoria Romolo al Borgo is an option for dinner, with fresh fish and exquisite dishes.
Breakfast is included, and you can pick from three nearby bars. We went to Volpi for its wide range of croissants and pastries. Our blue room was actually two double rooms, with a small balcony looking over the port of Nettuno. The rooms are furnished with taste and elegance, and the soundproofing worked really well, which matters in a village with restaurants and several bars. Cleanliness, friendliness, and ambience all get five stars.
Right in the old village center, the property looks out over the harbor and Piazza Colonna. The location makes it easy to get to the beaches and other amenities. The owner was kind and helpful, and breakfast is included at the bar across the street.
The medieval village is a great setting, and this clean, welcoming B&B looks over a charming square lined with bars, restaurants, and pizzerias. The owner was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
We stayed in the “Violetta” room, which was refined and tastefully decorated. The owners and staff were kind and hospitable, and the property is exceptionally clean with thoughtful touches throughout. Thank you, Danilo! We highly recommend it and will definitely return.
