Criu Boutique Hotel

The breakfast was a real highlight, with lots to choose from, fresh cakes straight from the oven, fruit, ham, cheese, croissants, tarts, and some of the best bread rolls I've had. There was plenty for both big and small appetites. The woman serving breakfast and making coffee was very friendly. Our room was roomy and very nice, with a great shower and all the modern conveniences. It's a great base for Etna, though getting to either Catania or Taormina through traffic is quite a mission.

The room looked beautiful and was extremely clean, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. The chef greeted us each day with freshly baked cakes and sweets, plus omelettes with the toppings we liked. Everyone was friendly and ready to help whenever we needed advice or assistance. The hotel director was very professional and made sure everything was just right. We were so impressed with our stay at Criu Hotel and highly recommend it.

We stayed for two days and really enjoyed it. Our room, Manna, was new and had a bathtub in the bedroom, which was very handy in winter. Bruno was so helpful that he even offered to cover the parking fine we got for parking in front of the hotel. The place is modern and clean, well above what you usually find in the neighborhood. We'd definitely return if we get the chance, and recommend it to anyone who values that.

We found it a great base for exploring Etna, and the center of Nicolosi was an easy walk away. This was our favorite hotel during our time in Sicily. It's newly built, with lovely design, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was excellent. We'd definitely recommend it.
