The rooms on the cheaper side have no windows, and the light can wake you early since there are no shutters. You can hardly see Etna, either. The three wooden cabins at the back of the garden didn’t feel as special as we’d expected. Still, it seems like a nice place if your plan is to visit Etna.

You can walk to restaurants and shops in Nicolosi from here, and it’s right by Etna National Park. We had a lovely view over the city of Catania. The hotel owner was friendly and very helpful.

The rooms were clean and cosy, and the service was great. We’re planning to come back for a few more days.

There’s plenty to enjoy here, including a pool, tennis court, and play area for kids, all free to use. The view is stunning, and the setting feels wonderfully close to nature. Along with the regular rooms, three chalets sit among the greenery and give you that mountain feeling. You might come across an insect or gecko, but that seems part of the natural charm. It’s a great spot to explore Etna from and unwind. A very deserved five stars.
