We found the place through a friend who lives nearby, after a long day of museums and driving in the heat. The gardens and fields by the river were just what we needed to unwind, and the mountain setting made for a lovely night’s sleep. Dinner was another highlight: when the kitchen opened, the smell of steak cooking over a wood fire filled the air, alongside local wine, aperitifs, and desserts. In the morning, the family was already preparing breakfast. Freshly baked croissants, birdsong, and blue skies made waking up there feel special. The hardworking family made us feel like friends, and the place is interesting if you’re into motor vehicles. One of the best parts of our vacation. Thanks for such a lovely experience!
