This place really captures Sicilian hospitality. We were a group of 24, and the resort handled us well, taking care of many requests, including a last-minute taxi and a birthday cake. WhatsApp replies were always prompt and helpful. The setting is peaceful, with a pool bar open all day and a restaurant serving good local food. One request for an Amatriciana wasn't fulfilled, even though the menu included the ingredients. Breakfast felt limited and restrictive. We expected a continental spread, but there was very little local produce to choose from. Sometimes we had to ask for items to be replenished, though none of those requests were refused. The hotel had only just opened for the summer season, and on the first night the menu prices didn't match what we were charged. They corrected it quickly once we pointed it out, but checking the bill in detail was inconvenient with such a large group. The accommodation, especially the villas, was less impressive. Beyond the outdoor space, they didn't feel worth the extra cost, particularly since they don't get housekeeping like the standard rooms. Hot water was inconsistent, and often the last of four people had none. The Villas also had no Wifi, especially 102, where I stayed. There didn't seem to be many activities, though maybe we should have asked. A games room, table tennis, or bicycle rental would have been great, especially with the beach nearby.
