The sea is less than 200 metres away, and the setting feels like a real peaceful retreat. Sebastiano and Donatella were kind, helpful, and available whenever we needed something. The location also makes it easy to get to Marzamemi, Portopalo, the Vendicari Oasis, and Noto. The accommodation is charming, clean, well equipped, and carefully maintained. I highly recommend it for a quiet holiday.
We were three families and all had a great time. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. It’s a handy base for at least a week in southeastern Sicily, with Noto, Ragusa, and Syracuse within reach, as well as beaches such as Vendicari, Marzamemi, and Isola delle Correnti.
The owners were so welcoming and made us feel right at home, a real SICILIAN welcome. The apartment looks out toward the beach, which is just a five-minute walk away. Sebastiano was incredibly friendly and helpful, and took us by dinghy to see the coves and some of the loveliest beaches along the coast. We also stopped at the little port of Marzamemi for excellent seafood. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
We had a lovely stay, and Donatella and Sebastiano always had great advice for us. Sebastiano’s boat trips are truly unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to them.
The apartments come in different layouts, with one or two bedrooms, and each has its own outdoor space. They’re comfortable and very clean, just steps from Cala Bernardo beach. Sebastiano and his wife were especially kind and helpful. I’d personally choose a first-floor apartment for the superb views and extra privacy.
