Gio made us feel so welcome, and this is a place we won't forget. The pool is right outside, and the garden is amazing. In the evenings, watching the sunset and the light change is something special. It's peaceful and beautiful, with a short walk to the beach and an easy base for exploring Noto. Can't wait to come back. Thank you, Gio. Nicola and Mark

We loved staying in this villa, with its lovely grounds, animals, fresh fruit and vegetables. The accommodation was nice, and the location worked perfectly for visiting the towns of southern Sicily.

A stay at Casale della Pergola felt like a reset for the soul, exactly what we needed to feel close to nature again. We picked fresh eggs from the chickens each morning, gathered lemons, oranges, blood oranges and plenty of other fruit, and enjoyed the farm's own olive oil. There were ducks to greet and a lovely donkey to feed, and we even made lemon cake with ingredients from the farm. Hammock naps in the afternoon were dreamy. The kids loved the playground with its swings and slide. Such a peaceful, family-friendly visit, surrounded by nature and still so close to a beautiful beach. We're very grateful for the experience.

The kids were delighted by the geese and donkey, and we enjoyed fresh eggs from the chickens and visits from the neighbour's cat. The large garden is exceptionally well kept and full of exotic fruit, making this a great place for a family holiday. Gioacchino was a wonderful host, friendly, easy to approach, and incredibly helpful. Thanks for such a good stay in your house! Update 2023: there's now a very clean heated pool, with lights in the evening.

Our 18-month-old had such a great time at Gioacchino's villa that she's still pretending to be a chicken as she walks around! The pool and garden are amazing, and we loved wandering through the gardens to see the animals and pick fresh fruit. It's a fabulous place in Lido di Noto, with everything you need. Perfect for children of any age. We hope we can visit again soon.
