Gagliardi Boutique Hotel

The staff made this stay for me. Andrea, the bar manager, was so helpful as a local, and talking with him at the bar became one of my favorite trip memories. Maria and Vincenzo at reception helped us with everything from parking to dinner bookings. Their service was some of the best I’ve had, and I live in Southern California with pretty high standards. The rooms were comfortable, and the rooftop view was breathtaking. I loved staying here. 10/10, would recommend.

Cocktails or coffee on Gagliardi’s rooftop are a must, with Noto’s beautiful architecture all around you. The hotel sits right in the center of this architectural gem, one of Sicily’s and Italy’s finest. I stayed in November 2025. The rooms were sumptuous, with high ceilings, lovely decor, and modern, updated bathrooms. Breakfast was a tasty, varied buffet, and the friendly staff gave great dining recommendations. If you’re driving, use Google Maps. Other phone apps may not navigate Noto’s city center as well.

The rooftop setting, views, and atmosphere are spectacular. We weren’t hotel guests, but after seeing the sunset in Noto, we stopped in for a pre-dinner cocktail and the receptionist welcomed us. We waited about 20 minutes before anyone took our order, then realized we hadn’t been given drinks menus. The menu took a while to arrive, and our favorite cocktails weren’t listed. We took some time choosing, then ordered drinks we thought would be quick, since we were already at risk of being late for dinner. In the end, it took an hour and a quarter for a long wait and a rushed drink. It may be fine if you have all the time in the world, but customer service and staff training are very poor.

Just a couple of minutes on foot from the town center, with a calm atmosphere, lovely rooms, and staff who were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a delicious range of fresh options. The rooftop bar is well worth seeing. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend this stunning hotel if you’re staying in Noto.
