I Carusi Azienda Agricola Biologica

The views from the property and pool are incredible, and the place feels so peaceful. Our room was big, clean, and just right. We loved the food too, both the delicious breakfast each morning and the dinner we had at the restaurant one night. What makes the hotel special is the attention to detail, along with outstanding service. This may be my new favourite hotel, and we can’t wait to come back!

After a refreshing swim in the big pool, at least 15m long, breakfast was fresh and carefully prepared. They also sell lovely local homemade organic products, including olive oil, almonds, and marmalade, and the restaurant serves refined food. It’s a dream spot for peace and quiet, with beautiful views and decor surrounded by nature, while still close to the tourist spots in southeast Sicily.

I’m struggling to find words for this place. If I could, I’d give it more than five stars. From the start, I felt like I was in a calm retreat. The design blends modern luxury with cozy comfort, and the tasteful decor and gentle lighting make the atmosphere both elegant and soothing. The stay at I Carusi was wonderful from beginning to end. The room was spacious and spotless, with everything we could need. The bed, linens, and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and I slept perfectly. The sleek modern bathroom had a rain shower and lovely toiletries, and the care put into the details showed everywhere. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel restaurant, and every meal was a treat. There were plenty of delicious choices, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The fresh seasonal ingredients (@km0) and skilled cooking made every bite memorable. The restaurant staff knew their dishes and were passionate about them. Everyone looked after us so well. Stefania and Moussa, I hope I’ve got the name right, were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to help. The owner, Ms Simona, and her husband were incredible hosts too. Check-in was quick, and they welcomed us personally and warmly. The team was always there for recommendations or requests, without being pushy. I’d highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious, restful break with thoughtful service.

We stayed six nights with our two kids and used the hotel as a base to explore the region, with its lovely beaches and historic towns. There’s a lovely pool to cool off in after the heat and a day out. The rooms are clean and well kept. It’s a beautiful, quiet hidden gem, full of friendly people, with lots of care given to the details.
