2/10
The location is fantastic, but the hotel has too many shortcomings and seems understaffed. We were three families staying for three nights, and it felt like a waste of money. In my view, this place isn't even at a two-star level. Cleanliness was poor. Ants were on the bed all day, the bathroom mat wasn't changed during my stay, the shower tray was chipped, the hanger was broken, and the light bulb didn't work. The kitchens were very dirty and had no cups or glasses at all. It felt as if we’d been given rooms that had been closed for months. The deckchairs were dirty and had no cushions, and some umbrellas were broken. Drinks at the bar came in plastic cups but cost premium prices. The TV didn’t work for our whole stay. The air conditioning stayed at the same temperature all day, and you had to call reception to adjust it, which was unacceptable in the middle of the night. Breakfast service was extremely slow. I understand the staff may have been overworked, and the staff were very nice, but food wasn't replenished once it ran out. For an Italian breakfast, it was cheap and definitely not four-star standard. The daytime receptionists were really rude and unhelpful. When we raised these problems, one tried to justify everything in a very rude way. I asked the director to contact me, but still haven't heard anything. Never again.

Excellent food and lovely staff who go the extra mile to make your stay special. This is a perfect little getaway, tucked away on the mountainside.

There’s a lot of potential here, in a beautiful area with birds all around. I’d have rated it four stars if the pool had been clean and breakfast replenished daily. Those seem like fairly easy things to fix, and they matter a lot to the stay, so I’m not sure why they haven’t been addressed.

The service was second to none, and I was told the management had only just changed, so I was treated like an especially valued guest. The hotel sits in a lovely, quiet countryside setting in beautiful Noto. It’s a great place for a relaxing break away from the tourist crowds, while still being close enough to visit the cities each day. Noto and Modica are about 10 minutes away by car, and Siracusa, Catania, and other places are also nearby. What a pleasant surprise. I strongly recommend staying here.

Kallikoros Hotels Spa Resort sits in a green countryside setting among carob, olive, almond, and citrus trees, vineyards, and more. It has modern rooms, an outdoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, restaurant, and panoramic terrace. Guests liked the relaxed atmosphere, tasty food, and friendly staff. The downsides mentioned were weak Wi-Fi, noisy air conditioning, and the remote location. Could be a good option if you want to enjoy the Sicilian countryside and Val di Noto.
