La Casa dei Girasoli

We spent two weeks in the studio apartment, which had all the comforts we needed, and the parking on site was handy. From the furnished terrace we could take in the sea view and those fairytale sunsets. The sea is only steps away, and there’s a beach with facilities nearby. Marzamemi is just a few minutes’ walk, with places like Vendicari nature reserve, San Lorenzo beach, and the Sicilian Baroque area close too. Signora Maria, with her husband’s help, was discreet and impeccable in her hospitality. Our holiday was unforgettable.

The location was the best part: just 50 meters from the public beach and lidos, away from Marzamemi’s busy feel, and still only a 10-minute walk to the beach. We stayed the week after Ferragosto (August 15th). The house is simple, but comfortable and has what you need. The owners were welcoming without being intrusive, and were willing to help us sort out a few issues. Highly recommended.

We were in a comfortable studio with a sea view, close to the center of Marzamemi. The owners were attentive, kind, and very helpful. We’re sorry about the negative review, since we were there when the neighbors had guests staying at the property. We understand the owner was only trying to protect the calm that makes this place so enchanting. We should give it five stars!

The studio was spotless, had all the comforts we needed, and came with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. Maria and Dario were always available and looked after us like family throughout our stay. La Casa dei Girasoli is just steps from the sea, a little corner of paradise. Thanks again, Maria and Dario. We’ll definitely return, we left our hearts there.
