La Suma Sumalia

We loved sitting down to a tasty breakfast outside and taking in the view from Noto all the way to the Vendicari Marshes and Sicily’s tip lighthouses. Corrado was so friendly and helpful, with Luana giving excellent support too, and he was always happy to suggest lovely places to explore. It’s an easy base for visiting the Iblean plateau, just a few minutes’ drive from Noto’s beautiful Baroque center. Peaceful and pleasant, this has become our magical place in Noto.

After busy days visiting cities and beaches, we really appreciated the peace, quiet, and cool breeze at Suma Sumalia, among the rocky hills around baroque Noto. It’s well placed for exploring southeastern Sicily. Simona made us feel welcome, always cheerful and attentive, and ready with tips about places to see. The simple rustic setting fits the landscape and is well cared for and very clean. Breakfast was generous and served under a lovely pergola. Thanks for everything, Simona. Highly recommended.

Corrado was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready with ideas for places to visit. The room was spotless, breakfast was excellent, and parking was easy to access and reserved. A charming, well-placed base for seeing the wonders of the Val di Noto. Highly recommended.

Mr. Corrado was very helpful, suggesting the best excursions and ways to mix culture and time by the sea when visiting other cities. The B&B has a romantic feel, with greenery and bright flowers all around. We especially loved the mandarin and quince jam. Must try! 😋👍🏻
