Masseria della Volpe

After a day out visiting the nearby little towns, coming back here felt like a real retreat. We also loved spending a whole day on the grounds, swimming and walking around. The tennis and volleyball courts looked great, though we didn't use them. Meals were a treat, with lots of ingredients coming from the estate's gardens. The rooms were roomy, with luxurious bedding and everything we needed.

We felt really looked after during the massages. Roberta and Sebastiano were wonderful, and each treatment had its own feel while being just as good as the others. I'd book more than one. Most staff were warm and helpful, especially Sebastian and Pepino, though a couple seemed aloof and a little disengaged. The restaurant was decent, but not outstanding, and some moments felt odd or careless. Our first room was a junior suite, chosen for its extra space and terrace, but it felt small. The terrace was bare, with no plants, lighting, or shade. We moved to another room and loved its gorgeous terrace. It was a very relaxing holiday, and we'd gladly return.

The service was the standout, from reception to the restaurant and spa. The rooms were lovely, and the pool area had such a restful feel. So glad we found this peaceful little oasis. We'll be back, thanks for everything.

When we got a flat tire, the staff stepped in with so much kindness and help. They made what could've been a stressful day go smoothly. That care was a highlight of our Sicily trip, along with the gorgeous grounds, beautiful pool, and peaceful atmosphere. We also loved Codarossa, where the food was delicious and the setting lovely. Wish we could've stayed longer.
