Nilla Apartments

We were very disappointed with how the apartment was managed. There was a strong musty smell, and damp had left cracks in the walls of both the children’s room and the bedroom. The shower dispenser and brackets were visibly rusty, and the shower stall and general cleaning were poor. The blackout curtain for the children’s room was missing and never brought. While we were there, a builder had to come repair the wall. In my view, management was unsuitable and improvised. Guests shouldn’t have to point out the condition of an apartment. We eventually had to reach an agreement to salvage our holiday because we couldn’t go somewhere else. Nobody came when we left, and nobody even apologized for the inconvenience. I hope this helps management take more care and show respect and consideration for future guests.

The listing photos on Booking.com and the property’s website don’t match the current situation. There’s a construction site in front, the public access road is unpaved, and there’s no garden. The view is just two gates, one on either side. There’s no sea view either, and the washing machine is in a nearby garage. When you go out and shut the door, the power cuts off, so the air conditioning stops working. Even when inside, it doesn’t cool the place. We decided against staying and luckily found another property with better value for half the price, just 50 metres from the beach. I’ve read the other reviews, but people calling this “exceptional” may be used to very low-cost accommodation.
