The best part is being right in the center of town, with everything easy to reach on foot. These are rooms in a renovated palace, and they’ve kept the old character while adding modern comforts. Ours was beautifully decorated, with luxurious towels, high-end Sicilian toiletries, soft linens, and a very comfortable memory foam bed. Serena was a lovely host, and the service felt genuinely friendly. Breakfast usually starts at 8:30, but she arranged an earlier one for us on our last day when we needed to leave early. Just know this isn’t a traditional hotel: there’s no reception, room service, or gym, though Serena and her staff are available when you need them. We stayed at several five-star and boutique places in Sicily, and this was easily our favorite. I’d choose it again whenever I’m in noto.

It’s a very expensive place for how little service is available. There’s no staff on site, so when we ran into problems we had to text someone offsite and wait for a reply. They do serve breakfast, though in noto that felt unnecessary with so many good cafes around, especially the amazing Caffe Sicilia. It’s an unusual accommodation option.

The room was gorgeous and really spacious. We arrived to find the hotel completely empty, with no service around. The next morning, someone woke us at 9 to say checkout was at 10.

The beds were the best I’ve ever slept in, and the place has a classy, trendy feel. The owner and two women there were incredibly welcoming. Second to none.
