I stayed here in August 2024 and wouldn’t recommend it. The house wasn’t clean, especially underneath the bed, and the bathroom was old and poorly equipped. The kitchen had too little cutlery when we arrived, was poorly equipped overall, and the gas cylinder was substandard. The listing said the air conditioning covered the whole house, but it was only in the bedrooms. Even with the blinds shut, the kitchen and living room reached 34 degrees Celsius in August. Every night the lights kept flickering, possibly because of a brownout. I also felt unsafe in the building. The front door was always open, there was a constant stream of people, and one evening a furious argument broke out. I absolutely wouldn’t stay here again.

Right in the heart of Noto, this apartment is spacious, clean, and convenient for everything, with restaurants nearby. It’s just steps from the cathedral and next to two of the city’s best-known bars, Sicilia and Costanzo. Breakfasts were excellent, and it was a perfect base for exploring.

We had to cut our stay of just over a week short after valuables were stolen and we no longer felt safe. The owner refunded the three nights we cancelled, but leaving early was a major inconvenience. The apartment looked like the photos, but the cleaning was lacking, with dust and cobwebs everywhere. The linen provided was also very limited for a stay that long. Although the location is central, the building felt questionable: a family with dogs lived downstairs, and each day we found their pet’s poop on the landing. There was also a strange flow of numerous people coming and going every day. Overall, it wasn’t a positive stay.

Recently renovated and right in the city center, this spacious apartment is nicely finished. The area is quiet, and we slept well on the new mattresses. The living room is roomy and comfortable, with a lovely sofa.

A roomy, very nice apartment with all the comforts we needed. It’s in the heart of Noto’s historic center, so we could easily explore the city on foot.
