Hotel Royal

Dinner was a highlight, every meal a lovely food experience. Our room was very comfortable, and the balcony view made the stay even better. We had an amazing time at this beautiful hotel and expect to return.

The reception staff gave us helpful tips for planning each day, and the rest of the team were really friendly. We came with family in summer and had a wonderful stay. The hotel was modern and clean, and our large balcony had an awesome view. The room was very comfortable. There was lots of variety in the food, it tasted good, and the staff were flexible about it. A great choice for a vacation in Obereggen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is in a stunning setting, and the food was great. The website pictures are accurate: everything is clean, modern, and kept to a very high standard. Even the garage was so clean you could eat dinner off its floor. The menu is only in German and Italian, which made it hard for us English speakers to understand; we had to rely on other guests for help. We stayed eight nights, and over that time I became increasingly uncomfortable with the owner seeming to keep a close, controlling eye on us all. Meal times also had little or no flexibility. At times I felt like a guest in her own home rather than in a hotel of this standard. She is very kind, but needs to loosen up and let guests enjoy this brilliant hotel.

Martina patiently answered all our questions and requests, and the whole team made us feel welcome from the first day. We arrived as guests and left as friends 😍. The hotel has a wonderful position in the village, looking out across the whole Eggental and beyond. Our newly renovated room was very clean and more than spacious. The spa is enough for some time in the sauna and pool. Thank you, team Royale, we’ll definitely return ✌️
