Spanglerhaus

Our garden apartment was beautifully decorated, and the mattress was so good, much better than the one I have at home. We slept really well. It’s easy to walk to the supermarket, about 300m away, and there’s a very good pizzeria opposite it. Rosengarten and Obereggen are easy to reach by car for hiking. The hostess was incredibly kind and helpful, and we had a relaxing stay. We’d love to come again if a room is available. :-)

The garden and pool were perfect for relaxing, and the apartment was fantastic, really clean, and had everything we needed. We spent two wonderful weeks in Deutschnofen. Mrs. Herbst is a wonderful hostess who made our stay feel special, with a carafe of wine one day, strawberries another, and then strudel. Thank you for such a relaxing time.

We felt comfortable at Spanglerhof right from the start and will definitely be back. The place is centrally located for quick trips to the bakery, butcher, supermarket, and restaurants, yet it’s so quiet. We spent a week there in July 2018 and were thrilled. The Herbst family welcomed us warmly and looked after us so well, with daily bread delivery and homemade jam as a gift. After hiking, a dip in the pool was incredibly relaxing, followed by time on the loungers or hammocks. We also enjoyed coffee and snacks in the garden. The spacious accommodation was attractive and had everything we needed, including plenty of kitchen utensils, a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator, and even a first-aid kit. There was a separate radio/CD player for music, and we watched football on TV in the evenings. The mattresses were comfortable, and even when someone got up to use the bathroom at night, the room doors closed so quietly that nobody heard a thing. They also put a lot of emphasis on recycling.

Paula and Anton from the Herbst family made our stay special. Paula always had a little surprise, whether coffee, cake, or even ice cream, and Anton was great for help planning hikes. The garden apartment was clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely modern bathroom, and nice little details throughout. The garden is just as carefully kept. We loved having breakfast on the terrace, then unwinding in the pool late in the day after a strenuous hike. Thanks, Paula and Anton, for such a wonderful time. We’ll definitely be back.
