Agriturismo La Collinetta

The food was a real highlight during our four days there: we tried everything from excellent pizza and fried fish to truffle and mushroom meatballs, and both the red and white house wines are worth a taste. Breakfast had a big sweet and savory selection too, and the iced cappuccino and cocoa latte were delicious. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable, clean room with a lovely terrace, minibar, TV, and air conditioning. The place is a peaceful little retreat on a hill below Novasiri, among vineyards, olive trees, fruit trees, flowers, plants, and animals. The large pool was beautiful and kept clean, and its bar kiosk was handy and always working. You can eat there, including by the pool during the day. Mr. Pierlucio made us feel at home with his professionalism and warmth, and Alessandro and Silvia were both lovely, caring people and real professionals. I’ll recommend this place and plan to come back next year.

The restaurant food was excellent, and the pool was a lovely spot to spend the day. We found the rooms clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and wonderful views over the countryside and sea. The owner and staff were courteous, professional, and attentive to what guests needed. It’s a peaceful little place where it’s easy to switch off and relax. If you need a break from stress, I’d highly recommend it.

Goats were part of the lovely scenery around the pool, and the view from our air-conditioned room’s balcony took in both the countryside and the sea of Nova Siri. The owner and Mrs. Silvia were so friendly. We’d happily repeat the stay for the setting, the location, and the warm welcome.

The view is beautiful thanks to where the property sits. Beyond that, I found little to like. The owner was rude, breakfast felt like something from a World War I hotel, and the rooms had a 1930s barracks feel. Cleanliness gets a 3/10 from me, and be aware that changing the sheets costs extra. I honestly don’t know whether it’s still open, but I hope they’ve chosen to close and focus on their real work, agriculture. Goodbye.
